Some of the most notable events include Frozen Dead Guy Days, the High Peaks Art Festival, Ned Fest, the Holiday Mountain Market and the Miner’s Day celebration.

In downtown area you will find several cute antique shops, restaurants and a few really good bars that play awesome live music. The lucky people who call Nederland home live in a close-nit community and enjoy all the benefits of being part of Boulder County. Because of the short drive to Boulder, many residents commute for employment although there are several places to find work up there as well. Nederland is an extremely dog friendly community that is home to outdoor excitement and beautiful views around every corner. Many of the homes you will see in the area are cute A-frames or cabins, but there is also a large market for luxury mountain homes as well.

Considered the “Gateway to the Indian Peaks,” Colorado closest ski resort at Eldora Mountain is just a few minutes outside town. In addition Nederland is a hiker’s paradise with opportunities to explore Boulder Creek, Chipeta Park, and Barker Reservoir.
